Published Writings

Ever since my first piece of writing was published in the Air Cadet News in 1988, when I was 18 yrs-old, I have enjoyed creating short stories to accompany my illustrations for publication in magazines and journals. The most complex projects were two hardback books about my two local airfields: RAF Newton and RAF Syerston where I not only wrote the text, but collated all the illustrations, worked with a specialist book layout designer, organised the printing and fulfilment direct to customers and retail outlets. If this process taught me one thing, it is that editing is one of the hardest things in publishing - deciding what to leave out!
