Commission Rates
Q: "How much does it cost to commission a painting?"
A: "How long is a piece of string.....each painting is individually priced depending upon size, media, content and frame to suit your requirements."
But as a general indication, prices for the following are:
- Pencil Drawings start from £50 and range up to £150.
- Pen & Ink Drawings start from £75 for a small A4 piece and can range up to £250 for a larger work.
- Watercolour/Gouache Paintings start from £100 - the most popular price range is £150 to £350 for medium sized works, but larger more complex compositions can range up to £1250.
- Oil Paintings start from £150 - the most popular price range with clients is £200 to £500 for medium sized works, but very large, complex pieces can range up to £2000.
